A Visionary Plan 

In our vision, humanity's brightest future is called The United Nations of Gaia. It's a potential future reality where human beings live in a richly diverse world that is, however, united - culturally, economically and politically - in some form of democratic federation or alliance. This union is created from the bottom up and from the inside out, meaning that it is built on a few universal principles and core values which the vast majority of people in the world can embrace and embody in their daily lives. Many people do so already. In this potential future, our differences are not seen as divisions and our contrasts do not lead to conflicts. Ideologies are replaced by an acute understanding of What Works to produce the outcomes that citizens consciously choose to create. War has been rendered virtually impossible. Peace and prosperity are experienced by all, each in a way of their own choosing.

The mission of The United Nations of Gaia Project is to lay the foundations and build the framework that will, in the years ahead, enable the manifestation of humanity's brightest future instead of a much darker and dystopian version, which appears to be where we're directly headed right now. A course-correction is urgently needed and our project strives to provide the right tools to get the job done. This will be possible thanks to the unique contributions brought to the table by millions of "virtual citizens" who already possess the know-how, the wisdom, the energy and the resources required for a challenge of this magnitude. In order to spark a more widespread interest in our vision, we believe we only need to involve 3-5% of the global population (critical mass) in Phase One of our project - which could take anywhere from 1-5 years. Over this initial period, our Roadmap will guide us through a series of strategic steps and achievements that will allow our community to become a collaborative and relevant voice in the world, capable of charting a new path for all of us.

A new kind of consciousness is emerging on the planet which contains a higher wisdom and the will to look deeper into the true causes of dysfunctional and problematic behaviors, both from a psychological and a spiritual perspective. However, this approach to problem-solving is not being displayed anywhere in the public arena nor is it being applied at any level in our societies, locally or globally, or so it would appear. The purpose of The United Nations of Gaia Project is to bring a higher wisdom front and center in every important debate and discussion that impacts the lives of human beings and our planet. We (including you) will provide renewed inspiration, motivation, vision, creativity, imagination, education and wisdom wherever it can make a positive difference, especially through the vehicle of a representative institution present on the world stage as a global, democratically elected body. (we call this institution The World Peace And Unity Council).

In so doing, we will debunk the widely-held dysfunctional beliefs that are creating such destructive behaviors in just about every sector of human activity on the planet and put forward functional beliefs rooted in a higher wisdom. This can and will produce much more constructive behaviors that in turn will change the conditions of life on earth for the better. It's not rocket science, it's really quite simple, and with the help of our citizens we will clear the way for our species to evolve to a higher level of consciousness at a more accelerated pace.
